Mack Sowell

Mack Sowell serves as Vice President of Real Estate, where he leads the continued growth of the company’s self-storage portfolio.

Prior to Highline, Mack served as Director of Real Estate at MyPlace Self Storage, where he was the first member of the acquisitions team. He played a key role in scaling the MyPlace platform to 45 assets and a valuation of over $400 million in partnership with Nuveen Real Estate. Prior to MyPlace, Mack spent five years at Simply Self Storage where he worked with both Brookfield Asset Management and Blackstone’s BREIT on acquisitions and portfolio strategy.

Mack received his B.S. in Marketing from Georgia Southern University and his Master of Real Estate Development from Auburn University.
